Marci Vinciguerra is a Friendswood High School Alumni. After graduation, she began her studies at Baylor University, transferred to Louisiana State University and earned a Bachelor of Interior Design. She is the President and Senior Designer of V Design, a small interior and event design firm in Friendswood, TX.
Over the years and different duty stations, Marci has worked with 11 different nonprofit organizations and served on the board of six. In addition to volunteering at the shelter, she has served as a Friendswood Mustang Booster Club representative the last four years.
She met LTjg AlDante Vinciguerra of Penns Grove, NJ when he was stationed in Galveston, Texas. They married in 1998, relocating 8 times. They returned to Friendswood in 2021 when Dante retired as a CAPT from the Coast Guard.
Marci and Dante have four children. Giavanna is a 2023 Friendswood High School graduate attending Southern Methodist University running cross country and track. Asia is a 2025 FHS graduate attending the University of Miami majoring in Engineering. Dominic and plays football and runs track. He will graduate from FHS in 2028 and Damian plays football and baseball and will graduate in 2032.
Marci was bound to fall in love with one of her foster animals. She adopted her now 125 pound Cane Corso, Sicilia “CiCi”, who loves visiting the shelter and participating in playgroups and assessments when needed. CiCi was a medical foster that needed to gain weight and in need of medical care. She and their cat Sashimi “Sashi”, a rescue from Miami, greet Marci every day when she comes home. They remind her how lucky we are to have the unconditional love of animals.

Brad Christen is a practicing attorney who believes strongly in using my skills to support organizations that make a difference. I currently sit on two non-profit boards that have direct impacts on the residents of those communities. As a member of the board of FANS, I contribute legal perspective, thoughtful governance, and a commitment to the organization’s mission.
A couple of years ago Marci spoke to me of her vision for the organization and recruited me to help with FANS. I use my legal expertise to position FANS so it could help the Friendswood shelter and support their operations and fundraising activities.
When not practicing law, I can often be found with my dog—whether exploring local trails, visiting dog-friendly cafés, or volunteering with animal-related causes. My love of animalsreflects a broader belief in compassion, community, and service.

Born and raised in Texas, I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition and a minor in Secondary Education. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and today I’m the proud owner of four dogs who keep me busy and bring a lot of joy outside of work.
I am a bakery owner with a passion for food, education, and community. I have owned Great Harvest Bread Co. in Katy, TX for 13 years and expanded with a second location in Friendswood, TX a year and a half ago. Through both bakeries, I focus on quality ingredients, fresh daily baking, and creating welcoming spaces where people feel at home.

CJ, born Charles Tramble, is the founder of CJ’s Dog Training and known professionally as CJ The Dog Trainer. Raised in Tom, Oklahoma, he is a graduate of Haworth High School and a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served until 2005.
After training as a pipe fitter at Tulsa Welding School, CJ changed paths during the 2019 pandemic to follow his true calling: working with dogs and helping owners build strong, balanced relationships.
His love for dogs began at age nine with his first puppy, Smoke, the spark behind everything he does today. Now a father of three and a grandfather of three, CJ brings discipline, heart, and real-life experience into every training session.
CJ’s Dog Training stands for confident dogs, capable owners, and lasting results.

Born and raised in Texas, I developed a deep love for animals at an early age while growing up on a horse boarding facility. I spent much of my youth showing horses on the AQHA circuit and was actively involved in FFA while attending Friendswood High School through my sophomore year before graduating from Alvin High School.
In 2003, I married and relocated to North Carolina, where we welcomed our two children. In 2008, we returned home to Texas, where we have proudly raised our family.
I earned my nursing degree in 2012 and spent several years working in the operating room, a role that strengthened my compassion, attention to detail, and commitment to serving others. After retiring from nursing, I dedicated my time to our local community, serving three years as the Friendswood Mustang Booster Club Football Representative.
My passion for service and animals naturally led me to work alongside Marci at the shelter, where I became involved with FANS. I now serve as the Marketing Director, combining my heart for animals, community involvement, and organizational leadership to support our mission and help make a lasting impact.
